SynthQvfb

In services/gfx/qvfb/ you find the eCos package QVFB which lets you use the Qt virtual framebuffer from within eCos applications for the synthetic target. If there is no prebuilt qvfb available for your distribution, you can find the sources in tools/qvfb/ in the Qt3 source tree. With qvfb you have a convenient way to use a framebuffer from eCos applications under the synthetic linux target.

Beta. It works AFAIK, but I haven't used it now for more than a year already.

Up for adoption. I have currently other things to care for, so I would be happy if somebody else cares for this.
