GPLProjectsIf you want your project to be hosted on eCosForge, please read the requirements for hosted projects If you want to use the software for closed source firmware, you must not use software licensed under GPL. For LGPL-licensed firmware it is more complicated, your customers must be able to link new versions of the LGPL-licensed components with the rest of the firmware to create a new working firmware binary. Check the license for details. Rule of thumb: use LGPL-licensed static libraries only for firmware which is under a GPL-compatible license. |
